Jiminy Crickets! $136K for a glorified clerical job? I'm a Board Certified (x2) Nursing Professional, 2 graduate degrees and 18+ years experience saving lives and I don't make near that much money. Where are the torches and pitchforks?

YHou have to wonder what the entire budget is for this office full of political favorites do all day. Remember Nick Longo took this job after he left the Town Board. He ad ZERO experience so how hard can ths job be? Certainly not $140,000 CLAMS a year. How much does the Assessor in Orangetown make? Man , we are getting screwed royally.

O-TownAssessor makes $111,000, Tax Receiver $73,000 Clarkstown Assessor $139,999, Tax Receiver $114,000 Town is combining the Tax Receiver with Town Clerk but imagine how much money was given to all their political friends in these offices over the years. Just as ad as stealing IMO.
