Nothing is more important than making a good first impression and your home is no different. When marketing a home, curb appeal is essential.  To make a strong first impression, here are a few tips to making your home as alluring as possible and enable you to command top dollar.

: The most important thing you can do is clean, clean, clean. Dirt decreases perceived value.

: Power wash your home’s exterior, driveway, patios, and other outdoor elements.

: Improve landscaping by trimming the existing shrubs, plant new shrubs where needed, add flowers and potted plants. Putting new mulch down and edging all the planting beds, really dresses up a home.

: Paint deck, house, trim and doors if needed. Even consider changing your doors hardware and porch lights to give the home a sense of new.

: Install outdoor lighting to make the home more inviting and to increase the sense of security.
