2014 Hook Half Marathon Finisher Medals Revealed!

Rockland Road Runners is excited to reveal the first ever Hook Half Marathon finisher medal design! For 2014, all Half Marathon finishers will receive a medal of an antique, silver tone that illustrates the iconic Hook Mountain overlooking the Hudson River!

“For the past 24 years, the 200-foot climb up Hook Mountain has humbled the runners of this race. On the race’s 25th anniversary, we are thrilled to award all half-marathon finishers for this accomplishment and their hard work,” said president Jonathan Farrell.

In addition, Rockland Road Runners will award $100 to the first place male and female half-marathon finishers. The top three male and female age group finishers in the half marathon and 5k will receive first place, second place and third place winner medals. The age groups are 19 and under, and every five years thereafter.
