For the last 26 years, the Women's Distance Festival 5K has been the only women's running or walking event in Rockland County. Ladies this is YOUR race, please join us in the fight to end violence against women. Join us for the 26th annual event - on Saturday, July 13th. This race is presented by Rockland Road Runners and as always the proceeds will benefit the Center for Safety and Change, formerly known as the Rockland Family Shelter. This is a flat and scenic course at Rockland Lake State Park.
Registration is $20 For Rockland Road Runner members, and $25 for Non members. Team registration is available for Mother-Daughter or Sister/Sister teams. $40 if one team member is a Rockland Road Runner, and $50 if no one is a member.
SPECIAL NOTE: If you are trying to register for the new category - TEAMS please be aware of the following. First, walking teams consisting of 5 to 20 walkers must use code WDF713. For running teams consisting of 5 to 20 runners the code is TEAM713. Teams MUST be registered all at one use one credit card. Possbily, one person, such as the Team Captain can do so and then collect the fee from the team members. Sorry for the extra effort, but this is the only way to do teams online. Race day registration will be $30 for individual entrants and $60 for team entrants.

Race Info
The course is a scenic USATF certified lakeside loop, flat, fast and fun! Awards to the first three finishers overall and age groups 12 - 80+. Also Mother/Daughter and Sister/Sister categories (runners only). Awards to the first three walkers under 40 and first three walkers age 40 and over. Kid's Fun Run at 7:30AM before event at 8:00am sharp. T-Shirts guaranteed to the first 400 registrants.Race Day Schedule

- 7:15am - Last check-in for kids' fun runs
- 7:30am - Kids' Fun Run begins
- 7:45am - Last check-in for 5K
- 8:00am - 5K begins
- 8:05am - Walker start
Registration Fees
5K Race - RRR members until July 9: $20.005K Race - non-RRR members, until July 9: $25.00
5K Race - Ages 12 - 19 and 60+ until July 9: $18.00
From July 11 to race day, fee is $30 for all. No exceptions.
T-shirts not guaranteed to race day registrants.
