Full House for Hairspray Musical Opening Night

Nanuet High School's production of Hairspray on Friday night packed the seats!

There was hardly an empty seat in the house as the crowd laughed and cheered throughout the entire show. Nanuet High School put on the hit musical Hairspray this weekend.

"People starting getting here at 6:30 (for an 8 p.m. show)! This is just a great production. The theme is really important. The message the kids give is a great one."

"I flew from Atlanta for the show to see my niece, Ally. She's playing Amber Von Tussle. I am just blown away with this performance. I can't believe the talent in this room. I kept turning to my sister and asking are these really high school kids?"

Bouquets of flowers showered the cast members as the excited stars emerged from backstage. The halls were filled with chatter and congratulations for a show well done.
