The deadline's tomorrow March 15, but it's been extended until Friday, March 18 so save your spot today!

Want a night out with the girls with some prizes too? The Nanuet High School PTSA is hosting a "Ladies Night Out" Fundraiser at 7 p.m. Monday, March 28 at La Terrazza in New City. However, the deadline to RSVP is tomorrow, March 15.

"We're all excited about it it's a good fundraiser," said Donna Drygas, event organizer. "The PTSA has had it (this fundraiser) for years. Last year, itt was very well run."

On top of the wonderful company, the night also features a 5-course dinner with a choice of entree and raffles.

"This year, we have a 50/50 raffle," said Drygas. "We're raffling off a Kindle (e-reader) and about 70 other prizes that will be part of a chinese auction. The room only holds only 130 so half the people walking out will have a prize."

In a Chinese raffle auction, a random raffle ticket is pulled from a "hat" to determin the winner. However, each of the 70 prizes will have its own hat letting ladies pick which particular item they want to focus their raffles on.

"We still have seats available," said Drygas. "The deadline's tomorrow, but we'll extend it until Friday, March 18."

A cash bar is available. It's $40.00 for this fun night, which includes gratuities, so bring a friend for a meal, prizes and a good cause. Proceeds go toward the PTSA's Project Graduation, which is an alcohol- and drug-free chaparoned party after graduation.

"Project Graduation provides a safe environment for students after graduation and keeps them off the roads that night from party hopping," said Drygas. "We're trying to keep them safe, that's the main point."
