Nanuet Academic League Wins Championship
All Rockland high schools have an academic league and compete against each other
Twelve Nanuet Knights went up against Spring Valley High School on Thursday afternoon and came out victorious.
"Nanuet High School’s Academic League Team finished the season as champions of the Rockland County Academic League," said Jack Gremli, the teams advisor.

The Nanuet Academic League Team entered the championship undefeated 8-0 and beat Spring Valley, who had only one loss before Thursday. If Spring Valley would have won, both schools would have tied in the championship.
"Every high school in the county faces each other in dual meets," said Gremli. "Nanuet finished alone at the top of the standings."

The teams answer academic trivia questions from five subject areas. On March 8 there will an all school invitational round robin tournament at Suffern High School from 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
