Nanuet Hairspray Musical Tickets Now Available
The spring musical is $10 a ticket and the show is March 11-12; 845 627 9850 for tickets
Nanuet High School is one of the first schools in the nation to put on the musical Hairspray because of a fun little fact that’s not widely known. Nanuet HS Graduate Scott Wittman is the lyricist for the original 2002 Broadway production of Hairspray along with Marc Shaiman.
NHS’ Hairspray musical is March 11-12 but tickets went on sale today. Last night, students performed a sneak peek skit for the senior citizens during the Annual PTA Founder's Day Dinner.
“It’s a lot of fun,” said Sophomore Katherine Bartell. “We’re like a family. Every rehearsal is a great time. I love doing it.”

"The whole thing was wonderful," said Senior Citizen Marilyn Finkel. "The play seems great, the dancing and the singing."
“Since there are over 120 students involved in this musical it may possibly sell out so buy in advance,” said Dr. Jack Gremli, Nanuet Schools' Director of Music. Although tickets will be sold at the door, he recommends that those interested should buy tickets in advance.
