Nanuet HS Students Study Hudson River
They participated in the annual A Day In The Life Of The Hudson River
A group of students from Nanuet High School spent time at Bowline Park in Haverstraw as part of the 10th annual A Day In The Life of the Hudson River program.
The program is organized by the Hudson River Estuary Program and Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory in Palisades.
Nanuet was one of 60-plus schools in the Hudson Valley to participate in the program on Thursday. The students did chemical analysis on samples of the river’s water, measured the height of the water in different tides and more.
