Nanuet Kindergarteners Perform At PTA Reception

Kindergarteners in Sue Vasquez’s class earned the spotlight Tuesday when they sang, “Ready to Start the Day.” Music Teacher Diana Bullard led the group of some of Nanuet’s youngest students from the George Miller Elementary School in their performance at the PTA’s School Board Recognition Reception.

Students representing each of the district’s four schools sang or played music during the program. Highview Elementary School's third grade class sang "Joy", Barr Middle School's fifth graders played "America the Beautiful" on the viola, and Nanuet High Senior senior Katherine Filatov performed an excerpt from “Mozart's Concerto for Clarinet.”

Nanuet's PTA President Andrea Cangelosi presented school board members with plaques and gift for their commitment to the district.
