Michael J. Carbone earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from The University of Scranton at commencement ceremonies held Memorial Day weekend. Carbone was among the more than 900 bachelor's and associate degree recipients conferred at the Jesuit university's undergraduate commencement on May 26 at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre.
Alex Lorenc was named to the Dean's List at Saint Joseph's College of Maine for the spring semester. To be eligible for Dean's list, a student must attain an average of 3.5 or better.
Theresa Gilbert was among 92 new members inducted into the SUNY Oneonta chapter of Phi Eta Sigma, the national scholastic honor society for college freshmen, during a ceremony in the Sanford Auditorium of the college's Instructional Resource Center on Sunday, May 5. Gilbert is majoring in Childhood Education.
