"Over the past few years, we have done some major work on our phone system, including a brand new PA system in the middle school and high school," said Phil Sions, assistant superintendent for business.

The 2012-13 calendar was also approved, which is attached to this Nanuet Patch article.

“It’s a pretty traditional calendar. February’s only a couple of days. We have a Superintendent’s conference day added to President’s week,” said Superintendent Mark McNeill. “Spring Break is the same pretty much across the county. The most salient issue is, all three of the Jewish holidays … fall on school days and when that happens, it limits the options of other possible vacation days in the school year.”

The board also approved the following school property tax report card.

Under NYS Education Law, the Nanuet School District’s Property Tax Report Card for 2012-13 must be approved by the Board of Education before it can be submitted to the State. It also has to be approved no later than 24 days prior to the statewide uniform voting day.
