As the Nanuet Union Free School District gets set for the 2010-2011 school year, there will be some staff changes when the students come back to class.
- Social Studies Teacher Maura Ronan will not be teaching during the 2010-2011 school year at Nanuet High School. She has been granted an extended leave of absense without pay.
- Last June, the district eliminated the Special Education position of Shira Krance in the Special Academic Tenure Area at MacArthur Barr Middle School.

- Kodi Tidd is the new Art Teacher in the Special Academic Tenure Area of Art starting this upcoming school year. Kodi was a substitute teacher for the Pioneer Central School System previously.
- Highview Elementary third grade teacher Ellen O'Rourke will be the new Special Education teacher in the Special Academic Tenure Area of Special this upcoming school year.

- Melissa Light is the new regular substitute elementary teacher for the district this 2010-2011 school year. Light worked in Math Remediation at Miller Elementary previously.
