Rockland Read-In: Barr Middle School, Highview Elementary Recognized

The Rockland County BOCES recognized county schools for the performances by their students in February's Rockland Read-In

Two Nanuet District Schools earned special recognition for their participation in February's 27th Annual Rockland Read-In.

This year 62 schools in Rockland County participated with students reading a total of 4,452,038 minutes ad part of the annual event designed to inspire students to read for pleasure.

Barr Middle School took second place among middle schools and Highview Elementary took first among elementary schools with 300-400 students.

Highview took second and Barr took first in most minutes read per student in its division.

Albertus Magnus earned most improved honors and took second in minutes read per school among High Schools.
