Seniors Enjoy 20th Annual Deja Vu Dance

Tom Doherty was recognized for starting the Deja Vu Senior Citizen's Prom, which was held Saturday in the Pearl River High School Gym.

Former Pearl River Director of Athletics Tom Doherty started the Deja Vu Senior Citizen's Prom.

For the 20th annual Deja Vu dance, Doherty was honored for his role in the event, which is held in the Pearl River High School gym.

The event is organized and paid for by the employees of the Pearl River School District.

Student clubs also make donations and many students help the Pearl River administration, faculty and staff the day of the event. The PTA's also make a financial donation.

Tom Doherty was a pillar in the Pearl River School District. People have no idea how many things he started, or quietly worked behind the scenes doing. People like him are few and far between.
