Success for Highview Playground Lemon-Aid Stand

The kids spent a whole Saturday afternoon selling lemonade

Hoping for no rain, a few Nanuet kids set up a lemonade stand in front of Highview Elementary this past Saturday afternoon. They made signs and shouted to passing cars to stop and grab some lemonade. Several times, there was a line of cars in the Highview Elementary parking lot buying cups of lemonade.

They had a test run a week ago in which they raised $50. In just four hours of hard work, the kids were able to raise $352 on Saturday. 100 percent of the proceeds went to the playground. Check out the video to see how things went.
