It's never too early to start planning end of summer plans. For Nanuet kids, there's a Falcon Sports Basketball Clinic in late August before school starts up again.
Registraion for the MVP Basketball Clinic is now open. Falcon Sports is a new business and this is the first year they're running this program.
"The program is absolutely targeted to the Nanuet school district, but is open to all children regardless of where they go to school," said Deidra Varona Faulcon, who owns and operates Falcon Sports Events. "I am a parent with three children in the Nanuet School District. My children are very involved in sports and I saw a need to fill in the community."

The Clinic runs from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.Aug. 22 - 24 at the Nanuet Family Resource Center Gym, formerly St. Agatha, and is open to boys and girls in grades 3-8.
"We offer a full day program of basketball fun that allows all players to learn and grow their skills," said Faulcon.

The cost is $275 and lunch may be provided at an additional cost. athletic direction provided by Gerald Thomas. Here's what's included in the clinic:
- Daily drills
- Daily skills
- Tournaments
- Individual progress reports
- Prizes and awards will be granted.
Both Faulcon and Thomas are committed to educating, mentoring and developing young people.
