New season, new hope

A new season brings renewed hope for the Lycoming College women’s lacrosse team

The Warriors--who went 3-13 overall last season including a 3-9 mark in the Atlantic Conference--have eight home games on the schedule at the Shangraw Athletic Complex in Williamsport, PA.

Lycoming starts the season with three home games, opening against Kean University of Union, NJ, on Saturday, March 3; the Warriors play their first road game against Misericordia University in Dallas, PA, on March 23.

Preparing for her second season as a starter is sophomore midfielder Sarah Quigley of New City.

The alumna of Clarkstown South, where she was an MVP in both track and field and lacrosse, started all 16 games last season, tying for fourth on the team in scoring with eight points on five goals and three assists.
