The Nanuet volleyball and field hockey teams won tough games as the field hockey team squeaked out a narrow victory at Valhalla and volleyball won a close match against Nyack. Albertus Magnus soccer fell at home against Pearl River.

Score: Albertus Magnus Lost 2-1
Highlights: Pirate goalkeeper Justin Cueva led the defense with 7 saves as Pearl River narrowly won. Offensively the Pirates were led by Alex Castillo and Jared Schlosser who each found the back of the net once. James Huber scored the lone goal for the falcons.

Game: Nanuet @ Valhalla
Score: Nanuet Won 1-0
Highlights: Nanuet snuck by Valhalla in a narrow 1-0 victory. The game’s lone goal came from Carly Davin and the Nanuet defense was led by goalkeeper Stephanie Levy and her 17 saves.

Game: Nyack @ Nanuet
Score: Nanuet Won 3-1
Highlights: Nanuet defended their home court against the Indians in a hard fought 3-1 win. Nanuet was led by Nia Diaz’s 14 kills and Caitlin Lenihan’s 13 along with Victoria Serra’s 12 assists. Sophia Owens had 2 kills and 13 assists in a losing effort for Nyack.
