Pleasantville Defeats Nanuet 16-14 in Playoffs

The Knights were one of two teams from Rockland to make it to the Playoffs. They traveled to Pleasantville and may play in a consolation game. Check back with patch later for a photo gallery and tomorrow for the full story.

The Knights were one of two teams from Rockland to make it to the Playoffs. (North Rockland also made the playoffs). Nanuet traveled to Pleasantville and although they lost, they may play in a consolation game.

This is just ridiculous. There are two aspects to our water. Supply and demand. United Water…Read More control our supply and have been instructed by the NY Public Service Commission to increase our supply. Our politicians control our demand. They could enact legislation to restrict demand tomorrow: Introduce water saving measures, restrict growth and introduce incentives and policies to conserve, but do they? No, of course not, they would rather showboat and slam UW, who are doing what the State has mandated. If our local politicians are serious on this issue, propose real legislation and water conservation measure, not just baseless rebuke of UW.
