This Weekend: Patriots Registration Begins

The weather's warming up and that means the Orangetown Patriots Pop Warner is back in gear for football and cheerleading. 

"We're looking to get more new families involved. This is a great organization,” said Elena Graziano. “We’re all a family here and we’re trying to get word out there that we’re here and registration is open.”

2012 registartion begins tomorrow at Orangetown Town Hall:

• 7 - 9 p.m. on Friday, March 9
• 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 10

Here's what's being offered:

• Flag Football ~ Ages 5 & 6
• Tackle Football ~ Ages 6-12
• Cheerleading ~ Ages 5-13

The ages are as of July 31, 2012 and football players must be present for weight verification. Please bring a copy of child’s birth certificate and a recent photo. Registration fees due at time of sign up and visit the website for more information.

“This is a great way to get kids active and get them to meet other kids in the community,” said Graziano.
