Volleyball: Nanuet Knights Defeat Nyack Indians
The Lady Knights triumph over Nyack Indians in four games, winning their second match of the season
The Nanuet Varsity Volleyball team beat Nyack in four games this afternoon at Nyack High School. The Nanuet victory was a team effort led by the consistent serving and aggressive hitting of Captain Caitlin Lenihan.
“I was getting good sets,” Lenihan said, “I was into it. I felt good today.”
Nanuet’s hitters came out swinging in the first game of the match, especially Lenihan and freshman Nia Diaz. Their attacks at the net led the team to victory with a final score of 25-19. Nanuet’s Dana Rohan also assisted with the win, serving five of the last six points of the game.
