The Little Brown Jug rivalry didn’t go the way Nanuet fans would have liked this year as the Golden Knights fell 25-12. Other local teams did better as Nanuet girl’s won in field hockey and soccer.

Game: Nanuet @ Pearl River
Score: Nanuet Lost 25-12
Highlights: In one of Rockland’s fiercest rivalries Pearl River beat Nanuet to keep the Little Brown Jug. Home field proved to play a big part in the game as the Pirates went ahead 15-0 in the first quarter and rode a dominating defense to victory. This is the second year Pearl River won the game, before that Nanuet won 13 straight.

Game: Clarkstown South @ Nanuet
Score: Nanuet Won 1-0
Highlights: The Golden Knights found victory on the strength of Stephanie Levy in goal who had 10 saves in the victory. The game’s lone goal was scored by Megan Fitzgerald in the first half.
Sport: Girl’s Soccer
Game: Nanuet @ Albertus Magnus
Score: Nanuet Won 2-1
Highlights: Nanuet won on the road thanks to Sarah Schucker and her two goals. In the loss Kerry Mulcahy had a goal off of a Kaitlyn McNamara assist in this special Kicks for a Cure Breast Cancer Awareness game

Game: Albertus Magnus @ Tappan Zee
Score: Albertus Magnus Lost 40-28
Highlights: Even though the Falcons were up 14-13 at half the Tappan Zee run game proved to be too much. Joe Litzia and Kevin Dingman led the way for Tappan Zee as both players had 3 touchdowns each.
