The aftermath of Newtown has made the importance of school counselors and other mental health professional who work with children and adolescents so much more clear and important to all.
The week of February 4th has been designated National School Counselor’s Week. Senator David Carlucci will be on the LIU Hudson Rockland campus to read a proclamation acknowledging it as National School Counseling week. Members of the LIU Hudson at Rockland Faculty and current students will also be there to talk about the work they do with children in our schools.
