Christopher Barry attained the rank of Eagle Scout, an achievement commemorated at an Eagle Court of Honor March 21.
For his Eagle Scout project, Barry made improvements to the Harold H. Fogelman, M.D. Memorial Science Research Pond at the Nanuet Outdoor Education Center. He installed the site's sign, pathway and patio, providing better, safer access to allow for the pond to be utilized as a hands-on learning center for Nanuet students.
The pond was dedicated to the memory of Dr. Fogleman in October 2013. See photos of the dedication here.
