Helen Hayes Hospital will be holding a free workshop for individuals who suffer from the disease.
Do you or someone you know suffer from Osteoporosis? If so then an upcoming event at Helen Hayes Hospital may be of interest to you.
“NYSOPEP (the New York State Osteoporosis Prevention and Education Program) and Helen Hayes Hospital are dedicated to helping individuals of all abilities lead active, healthy lifestyles,” said Michelle Mosner of the hospital. “The Osteoporosis Support and Education Program at Helen Hayes Hospital meets monthly and features dynamic, fun, and diverse topics related to bone health."
"This month, on Tuesday, March 22, at 10 a.m., Anne Zbar, a certified Pilates instructor and licensed Physical Therapist from the JCCY of Rockland Russin Fitness Center will expertly demonstrate Chair Pilates. Pilates is a popular form of exercise that needs to be adapted to safely strengthen bones and overall health.”
