Partnership WIth A Kick: Big Brothers Big Sisters Teams Up With Nanuet Martial Arts Studio

Evolution TaeKwonDo and Kickboxing gives lessons to kids helped by New City-based organization.

has a new partnership with the Evolution TaeKwonDo and Kickboxing studio in Nanuet.

The studio at 95 New Clarkstown Rd., Nanuet, offers KaeKwonDo and Kickboxing classes for all ages seven days a week, with both morning and evening classes available.

Gillian Ballard, president and CEO of New City-based Big Brothers Big Sisters, says, "Our Bigs and Littles will be attending their first Taekwondo Class on Saturday, March 17, from 3 – 5 p.m. courtesy of Evolution TaeKwonDo and Kickboxing Studio."

Refreshments will be served after the class.

Here's what Evolution says about instructor Meding:

Born an athlete, Mark has also had fighting experience throughout the majority of his life. His kickboxing journey began in early 2009 and started instructing by the beginning of 2010. He has been training and teaching almost every day since. Truly committed to instructing a very high energy and fun class, Mark’s experience helps develop students into proficient kickboxers while having a great time doing it.
