Pfizer Helps Out At RCALD for United Way Day of Caring (VIDEO)

Friday is the United Way Annual Day of Caring in which companies have their employees take the day off of work to volunteer around the community. Pfizer had 13 employees at the Rockland County Association for Learning Disabilities Services (RCALD) homes off of Alice Drive in Nanuet. 

Pfizer even rented a till machine to put in a vegetable garden in the back as well as stain all outdoor wood surfaces, such as the deck and stairs. 

"They did a great job and it's very nice. I appreciate it a lot," said Larry a resident at RCALD.

"It's nice to sit outside," said Jack, also a resident. "It's good to grill outside on a day like this and sit on the porch on a summer day. It's also nice to look at the shed now that it's stained."
