The Rockland Council on Alcoholism and Other Drug Dependence, Inc. hosted its third annual Awards Dinner on April 7 to honor three community members. Volunteers of the Youth Jazz Quartet performed before dinner. Herve Alexandre Jr played the saxophone.

Judy Rosenthall, RCADD Board President, and Ruth Bowles, RCADD Executive Director, made a few remarks before the awards were presented.

"This is our largest turn out for this annual dinner," said Bowles, who started this awards dinner when she first joined RCADD three years ago.

Service Award:

Phyllis Morena is currently a consultant to the Rockland County Youth Bureau and facilitator of Rockalnd CAREs.

Marty Mann Award:

Robert Gelb spent most of his 6+ years on the RCADD board as Chairperson of the Special Events Committee.
