Where to Pick Up Girl Scout Cookies: April 28-29

Here's a list of upcoming cookie booths around town; take the Poll below on which cookie is your favorite

 

It's the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouts, and the warm weather means booths and youngsters will be popping up at local grocery stores and malls selling your favorites.

According to the Hudson Valley Girl Scouts website, cookie booth sales begin Friday, April 20 and customer delivery will begin from April 21-28. Are you a thin mint kind of person, or do you prefer shortbread cookies? Either way, you can load up on boxes of these at these various locations:

  • Saturday, April 28 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the —Troop 40436
  • Saturday, April 28 from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at New City —Troop 40826
  • Sunday, April 29 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Blauvelt Dunkin Donuts (580 Rt. 303)—Troop 40826

This is just ridiculous. There are two aspects to our water. Supply and demand. United WaterRead More control our supply and have been instructed by the NY Public Service Commission to increase our supply. Our politicians control our demand. They could enact legislation to restrict demand tomorrow: Introduce water saving measures, restrict growth and introduce incentives and policies to conserve, but do they? No, of course not, they would rather showboat and slam UW, who are doing what the State has mandated. If our local politicians are serious on this issue, propose real legislation and water conservation measure, not just baseless rebuke of UW.
