Don't Miss Foul Shooting, Super Sunday

There are tons of ways to keep busy around New City and Nanuet this weekend, and we're here to help you decide which happenings are for you.

Here are the details for three great events

Clarkstown Basketball Foul Shooting Contest

Where: Age groups are assigned to different schools: Bardonia and Woodglen elementary and Felix Festa Middle School.

When: Saturday, Jan. 25 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Cost:  Free

Description: Eight through 14-year-old girls will compete at Bardonia Elementary School. Eight through 12-year-old boys will compete at Woodglen Elementary School. Boys aged 13 and up, girls aged 15 and older and adults will compete at Felix Festa Middle School. Male and female Clarkstown residents, eight years of age and older are eligible to participate. Kid’s Kingdom Pajama Party

Where: Kid’s Kingdom, 121 West Nyack Road, Nanuet

When: Saturday, Jan. 25 at 6:30 p.m.

Cost: $25 per child, $15 for each additional sibling

Description: Join a Pajama Party at Kid's Kingdom and celebrate winter. Kids get to play in the Kingdom and enjoy games, pizza, and crafts. Program is for children two to seven years old. Reservations are required and payment is due then. Find specifics here.

Rockland Federation’s Annual Super Sunday

Where: Rockland Jewish Community Campus, 450 West Nyack Road, West Nyack

When: Sunday, Jan. 26 at 9 a.m.

Cost: Free except for PJ Library activity, which costs $5 per child or $15 per family.

Description: Super Sunday is part of the Rockland Federation's annual campaign to raise money for programs that strengthen Jewish life and help those in need in Rockland, Israel and around the world. Volunteers make phone calls to ask for donations. Teens can get community service hours by volunteering throughout the day. There will be a Gap Year Fair from 3 to 5 p.m. for high school students to learn about a variety of programs in Israel to attend between high school and college. PJ Library is holding an event from 12 to 1 p.m. for kids ages two and above with an adult. The documentary, The Case for Israel, will be shown at 4:30 p.m. Find more details here.
