The school district's graduation rate is about 95 percent percent, well above the statewide average graduation rate of 76 percent.</p> <p>Mark McNeill is the superintendent of schools. The district's office of student support services develops programs and services for students with disabilities and educational needs. All schools are handicap accessable. The district also has a free universal pre-K program for 4-year-olds.</p> <p>The district dates back to 1812 and Nanuet as a district began around 1949.
