Alison Bert, Neighbor

Alison Bert is a journalist and photographer. She was a reporter for The Journal News for seven years before joining Elsevier, where she is now Executive Editor of Social Media Content and editor of Elsevier Connect.

In the previous century, Alison was a classical guitarist and music professor. While working on a doctorate in music, she was a Fulbright Scholar in Spain  and studied in a master class with Andrés Segovia. She went on to join the music faculty of Syracuse University, where she earned a master's degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
