Sherri Eisenpress, Neighbor

A long-time resident of Rockland County, I have been a trial lawyer for over twenty years with a practice that includes Family Law, child custody, visitation and support litigation and mediation. I have also been involved throughout my career with the  representation of battered women in domestic violence cases. In addition to spending time with my 6-year-old son, I love to travel, cook and read and am passionate about working on behalf of children.   I am the chair of New York Youth at Risk, which is a program that provides prevention, intervention and mentoring to young people at risk, most of whom have had interactions with the foster care system, the juvenile justice system and family court. I have also been involved in the start up of several schools for economically disadvantaged children both here in New York and overseas.  I am running for Rockland County Family Court Judge because I want to serve the families of Rockland County and provide them with the legal expertise, compassion, cultural sensitivity, and respect they deserve when they appear in Family Court.
