Women in Transition Divorce Group

A divorce can be overwhelming, and most women are unprepared for the
turmoil, mental anguish and practicalities of going from a married
lifestyle to a single one. If you are separated, going through a divorce
or newly single, our Women in Transition group can help you feel
empowered and ease the process.

The group will work through the “new normal” and focus on creating
plans of action to move forward in an empowering, positive and
sustainable way.

We welcome women of all faiths!

Sessions will be led by a
licensed clinical therapist and will focus on a theme that is specific
to divorce and renewal including:

•     Adjusting from married life to single life
•     Changes in your relationships with others
•     Self discovery
•    Mourning the loss of your marriage
•    Finding a compassionate support system
•    Raising your self esteem

•    Pursuing healthy relationships and dating
•    Dealing with anger, shame, doubt, rejection
•    Handling legal and financial issues, visitation, co-parenting

Our
Women in Transition divorce group runs for eight weeks and will be held
on Wednesday evenings from 6-7 PM beginning January 8, 2014. The cost
for this program is $200. Childcare will be provided, with a pizza
dinner for the kids. Join other women of all ages facing the same issues
and work through them together!
