Nanuet's Outdoor Education Center Pond dedicated in memory of community leader Dr. Harold H. Fogelman

Here are more pictures from last week's dedication ceremony.  Ron Hansen, President of the School Board, presided over the ceremony.  "Dr. Fogelman was a dedicated school board member for over 20 years, and he was an advocate for the Outdoor Education Center, which makes this an appropriate tribute."  Hansen continued, "He was passionate about fostering a dynamic learning environment, and this outdoor classroom will further his vision for our students". 
The pond's renovation was part of Nanuet High School senior Chris Barry's Eagle Scout project.  He installed the site's sign, pathway and patio.  Chris explained that his project will provide better access to allow for the pond to be utilized as a hands-on learning center for Nanuet students.
