Hurricane Sandy Fundraiser, High School Open House

Each day, Patch provides the nuts and bolts of local happenings with our five-bullet local dispatch. 

1)   Events: Surviving The Storm is a fundraiser for Hurricane Sandy victims at UNION Restaurant and Bar Latino.  Twenty of the proceeds from the Haverstraw restaurant will go to helping victims of the storm.

2)   Events: Open House At Albertus Magnus from 7 to 9 p.m. Presentations and tours will be given at the high school located at 798 Route 304 in Bardonia. Go here to register.

3) Weather: Expect partly sunny skies and temperatures in the low 50s.

4) The Rockland County Board of Elections will hold extended office hours Wednesday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for those needing to apply for an absentee ballot.
