What Is The Most Endangered Species in America?

Political opposition is the most endangered species where we live [Rockland County, New York] because anyone who challenges the status quo is persecuted into extinction.

The trend here in Rockland County, New York, over the past two decades has been the collusion between pre-selected candidates and Party Chairmen to eliminate any and all manner of opposition.  No primaries, no real opposition candidates, trading the party linefor money, jobs and favors.

How many times over the last twenty years have you walked into the
voting booth to find the same candidate on all of the party lines?

How do you think that was engineered?

Is it not in the best of interest of the voting public to have divergent and opposing view points and philosophies to choose from for themselves?

It is only in the best interest of Party Bosses to use their authority to grant the party line to candidates of opposition parties, because they horse trade jobs and collude to deceive us, the voters with the illusion of choice.

What has been the result of this practice for Rockland County, New York?

Moody's down grades, consistent tax increases exceeding the scope of
all human decency for the average working man to manage, tax funded no
show jobs for people unqualified to stock gumball machines, parents being cursed out by their own school board representatives, as well as by their own hired attorneys at public meetings, and the systemic deconstruction of the two party system.

These are the reasons why you need a defibrillator when you get your
tax bill, when you feel your vote has been disenfranchised because your choices have been denied you, or the pre-picked candidates are really place holders, engineered to deceive you and make it a duck walk for the other side, and when loyal opposition candidates are attacked with all the levers of power to squash even the perception of opposition.

Consider this:

Why do Party Chairmen cling so desperately to their seats?  Well, a house of cards is so tenuous, it all collapses when the weakest one is removed.  They cheat because they know they cannot win fair and square.

What happens to the beneficiaries when a Chairman who trades the party
line to the point of normalcy is replaced with one who pledges to discontinue that practice?

What has been happening  to the one and only person, who ever challenged or opposed these Chairmen in 20 years, by simply offering a divergent view point, a new way of doing business,  or observation of the harm this ill practice has wrought on the good people of Rockland County and our nation?

First, they attack your honor, then they must marginalize your viewpoint, then distract the public from it by all manner of contrivances, tawdriness, character assassination, then enlist their client base who benefit from unopposed elections, are desperate to retain their office and Party seats, to join them in dissuading anyone else from siding with him.

Second, in spite of their worst efforts, when that single and solitary voice of opposition gains momentum, wins converts, replicates itself in an organized fashion, winning new committee seats, winning primaries, and unmasks their insidious course of conduct, then terror replaces panic, and uncertainty replaces arrogance. So they plot to kill the messenger, to stop the message.

The greatest risk to free people is Republicanism replaced by creeping Fascism and Democracy replaced by legislated Autocracy.

Once the masquerader is unmasked, their deception has failed, and all bets are off.  They not only will cheat, but what is of greater concern to us, is how they will co-opt public servants inside the criminal justice system into duplicity for use as a political weapon to imprison their opponent, if but they could.  

You would be shocked and surprised to learn how cheap some would sell out their integrity, and reconcile it with self justified, cognitive dissonance,  ruled by petty self interest or even simple vanity.

If the two party system is to survive extinction in Rockland County and the United States of America, then whether you agree or disagree with the viewpoint, just on principle, we must agree to protect the most endangered species since the wild Siberian Tiger; a loyal opposition party leader!

That is why I do what I do and endure what I have. Think about that and decide to do something beautiful about it, alongside the last few of us willing to stand on principle, even if we must stand alone.
