Here's what's going on around town.
At 7 p.m. on June 13 at Emmett's Castle at Blue Hill located at 285 Blue Hill Road, Pearl River, NY, 10965, several Rockland and Bergen County Chambers of Commerce will get together to network and share business ideas and information. The event was the idea of Kevin Hardy, President of the Pearl River Chamber.
Participating chambers include: Pearl River, New City, Nyack, Suffern, Haverstraw, Montvale and the Nanuet Chamber which is currently in formation.
It's $20 per person and includes appetizers, wine and beer. Register on line at www.pearlriverny.org.

United Way of Rockland County is excited to be hosting their 1st fundraiser event at the Rockland Boulders on Saturday, June 16.
UWRC is in the process of selling tickets for the game. They are asking businesses & residents to purchase between 2 to 4 tickets and donated them back to United Way.
UWRC will then donate the tickets to different organizations in the County: Social Services, The Nyack Center and / or Haverstraw Community Center and the tickets will be distributed to families who would benefit to see a ball game.
If you were a former gymnast or current cheerleader looking for an exciting and nurturing program, Rockland Rockstarz is holding tryouts for kids and teens. There are half year and full year teams and the gym and coaches are USASF certified.
