Nanuet's Dr. Robert Gregory Honored

Gregory Chiropractic founder honored for benevolent works

Dr. Robert A. D. Gregory, D.C., founder of in Nanuet was honored by the Town of Ramapo Italian Twinning Committee at their 15th Annual Dinner Dance Carnevale held at Norwood, NY Colonial Inn, on Saturday evening, Feb. 26.

“It worked over very nicely,” Gregory said. “My whole family was there.”

The Town of Ramapo school system once a year takes part in an intercultural swap of students from the village of Andretta, Italy, and the students live with and are chaperoned by the “twinning families.” The process began in 1996.

"Basically,” said Gregory, “the concept is about understanding each other, to better serve each other, to step out of your comfort zone and do something for someone, which is what life is all about.”

Gregory—who earned his D.C, from New York Chiropractic College in 1954 and commenced his New York state practice in 1961—was honored for his service to Rockland County, and for his service to the Free the Kids organization.
