Search Continues for Lost Nanuet Cat; New Sightings

Call 914-588-5697 if you see him

Editor's note: the following is user-generated content. On Monday, he was seen near .

It seems like Bailey has been seen twice in the Oakland/Amarillo Drive area.  Please keep your eyes out.

I know there is another stray orange cat over there. Bailey is a big fat tabby with a fluffy tail.  The other has a regular thin tail and not so fat it seems.

Bailey will run if you try and catch him so please just try and follow slowly and call my cell if you see him.  He won't come to strangers.

Thank you so much to all who have been calling and helping. We really appreciate it.  Please say a prayer for a safe return.

Please forward to your neighbors if you are in that area or any of the surrounding areas.  It has been a very hard two days on the kids and I am just hoping for a happy ending.

set up a trap!! you may get other creatures but just release and try again soon he will be hungry and come.. cats know the smell of home and tend to stay nearby but very afraid if he never got out before.. perhaps in nearby shrubs... look at night when all is quiet with a high beam light to see the eyes..

My cat was once "lost" in my neighbor's attic for 8 days without food or water. My neighbor heard scratches and meows but thought it was some other animal. When he left the attic stairs down( they were in his garage) and the garage door open my cat escaped and came home. I had left food and water on our porch and the cat found it: much to our delight. Good luck.
