Former New York Yankees shortstop Bucky Dent and outfielder Roy White appeared at a fundraiser event for Clarkstown Councilman George Hoehmann at Provident Bank Park on Saturday. The two former major league players each threw ceremonial pitches. More than 100 people attended the fundraiser for Hoehmann, a Republican seeking re-election, held at the Rockland Boulders versus Newark Bears game.
