Congers FD Pancake Breakfast

The Congers Fire Department is a non-paid volunteer organization made up by your dedicated friends and neighbors. They responded to 223 alarms last year and spend countless hours training, maintaining and servicing equipment.

They are hosting their annual benefit pancake breakfast so bring your family, friends and neighbors to give back to these volunteer firefighters that have given so much to the community already.

There will be Pancakes, sausages, coffee and orange juice. The event will be at the North Harrison Avenue Firehouse (40 North Harrison Ave., Congers)

The department will also have fire prevention demonstrations at the firehouse where the firefighters will give guided tours of the firehouse and show various fire apparatus from the 1888 steamer to the present fire trucks.

The event price is:

• $5 for adults
• $2 for children
