The Nanuet Black & Gold Club and Nanuet Athletic Department hosted the Fall Athletic Banquet at the high school on Wednesday night to recognize the achievements of the fall season sports teams and student athletes.
The coaches recapped the season’s highlights and challenges for the varsity Volleyball, Cheerleading, Field Hockey, Boys’ Soccer, Girls’ Soccer, Girls’ Tennis, Football, Boys’ Cross Country and Girls’ Cross Country teams. Special awards were presented to athletes selected for All Section, All Section Honorable Mention, All League and All League Honorable Mention. Sportsmanship and Scholar-Athlete Team awards were also presented.
The Little Brown Jug trophy ,which Nanuet won in its annual football game against Pearl River this year, also made an appearance at the banquet.
