Hi-Tor's Pet of the Week: Charlotte

Each week we highlight another wonderful adoptable pet available at Hi-Tor Animal Care Center (Rockland County's only animal shelter) located in Pomona, NY.

BET YOU CAN'T GUESS HER BREED?! Charlotte is a young, gorgeous and unique mix of Siberian Husky and French Bulldog! This doll craves human attention and love and will make a great companion. Much like a Husky she has a high energy level and will make the perfect running or biking buddy. And if you happen to work out of your home and have a fenced-in yard this just might be THE dog for you! Charlotte is a smart cookie who has basic obedience training, has already been spayed, is house-trained and is currently in a foster home with one of our staff. She's great with other dogs and promises to give your dog a great daily workout! Her one desire is to be around her people where she feels secure and taken care of. What you will receive in return is truly priceless.

To meet Charlotte, please contact Hi-Tor Animal Care Center, 65 Firemens Memorial Drive, Pomona, NY. (845) 354-7900.

This is just ridiculous. There are two aspects to our water. Supply and demand. United WaterRead More control our supply and have been instructed by the NY Public Service Commission to increase our supply. Our politicians control our demand. They could enact legislation to restrict demand tomorrow: Introduce water saving measures, restrict growth and introduce incentives and policies to conserve, but do they? No, of course not, they would rather showboat and slam UW, who are doing what the State has mandated. If our local politicians are serious on this issue, propose real legislation and water conservation measure, not just baseless rebuke of UW.
