Relay For Life is the signature event of the American Cancer Society. It is a fun-filled, overnight event that mobilizes communities throughout the country to celebrate survivors, to remember loved ones lost, and to empower others to fight back against a disease that impacts us all.
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life raises awareness, while also raising funds to fight the disease. The event unites friends, families, businesses, hospitals, schools, churches and people from all walks of life. Teams fundraise and seek sponsorship prior to the Relay, all with the goal of supporting cancer research and patient services.
Volunteers are currently needed for both events to organize and recruit teams, seek community support, coordinate logistics, plan activities and entertainment, and lend their support in any way. If you are interested in volunteering your time, please contact Jen at firstname.lastname@example.org or 845-440-2521.
