Readers' Choice: Best Florist

We're asking you to share your favorite place to flowers for that someone special

With spring in the air and with Mother's Day on the horizon, Patch wants to know where's the best place to get roses or a bouquet of flowers?

Here are some popular florists to start:

Check off your favorite place—and if we left out your favorite stop, let us know in the comments.

Voting in the poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Ties will be broken by whichever business has the most positive comments in the section below. We will announce the winner at noon Friday.

A note on voting: because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

Dykstra's in Spring Valley has been our favorite for 35 years. Always on time, always well designed, always the most help with the best advice. They are also very caring and involved with the community.

Pearl River Florist hands down. Great flowers, great service and great delivery. They are also very generous when called upon by local non profits and charitable groups. That goes a long way in my book. Maybe that is why they have been in business for over 25 years. Check them out next time you need flowers or a gift basket.

You should include Petals & Stems in Monsey. The owner Barbara Cohen is a "floral" legend in our county. It would be a great disservice to our community to leave her off of your list. Thank you.

Thanks for the nominations! Dykstra and Petals & Stems have been added

The Flower Peddler is by far the BEST florist EVER! They superceded my expectations for my wedding flowers in every way possible. They did such an AMAZING job. They were super creative with the flower arrangements. The flowers going down the aisle, on the Chuppah, for the reception, and on the wedding cake were arranged in such spectacular ways. The kinds of flowers I wanted and received were absolutely gorgeous one-of-a kind arrangements. I've never seen flower arrangements so beautiful and stunning in my whole life. I am still getting compliments from my wedding guests about the flowers. All my guests wanted to take them home after the wedding and they did!!!!
