Nanuet Man Charged with Theft in Stony Point

Police: Groceries stolen.

A Nanuet man is charged with petty larceny in connection with a theft at a supermarket, according to Stony Point Police.

David A. Longenecker, 23, of 16 Carrie Lane, Nanuet, was arrested after an investigation of an incident Sunday at the ShopRite store in Stony Point. Police said Longeneck is accused to taking assorted grocery items without paying.

Longenecker was released pending a Feb. 21 hearing in Stony Point Town Court on charges of petty larceny and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
