On March 26, State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Melissa Fontana, 21 years old, of Monsey, NY, for Grand Larceny 3rd, a Felony.
Fontana is alleged to have obtained approximately $11,000 from a fraudulent bank wire transfer in the Village of Wappingers Falls.
Fontana was arraigned in front of the Village of Wappingers Falls Court. The honorable Judge Chase remanded Fontana to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail. Fontana’s next court appearance is scheduled for March 27, 2014.
