Liberty: The Story of America's Favorite Statue
The Statue of Liberty took 20 years of planning, fund raising, and construction before its dedication in 1886. On Thursday, July 26 at 7 p.m., join author and photographer Kevin Woyce who will conduct a multi-media lecture rich in images and narrative that explain the history of the statue: what she symbolizes and who were the sculptors, engineers, and architects involved in her creation.
